Diana Gordon - President, Founder & Leader

As founder of Your Balanced Life, Diana decided to help make a difference in herself and the lives of others after being introduced to Ayurveda. Her journey to today, was anything but smooth. After struggling with living a non-healthy lifestyle from the loss of a close family member, Diana let this consume her and was taking a toll on her health, physically and emotionally. After gaining 80 pounds, she decided that enough was enough, and it was time to take control of her life. From her exposure to Ayurveda, she decided to take a holistic approach; focusing on mind, body and spirit. She enrolled at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and Hale Pule Ayurveda and Yoga to become Certified as an Integrative Health Coach and Ayurveda Health Counselor.

By building health and fitness into her life, Diana expanded her knowledge of portion control, exercise and the Ayurveda lifestyle. She became passionate about bringing the message of self awareness to those searching to live a long life full of vitality. Through seminars and one on one coaching, she continues to encourage and support people to create a happier, healthier and a longer more fulfilling life.

Diana holds a PHR and SHRM-CP certification and an MBA from Baldwin Wallace University.  In her free time, she loves running, yoga and being a Cleveland Fanatic!

Olivia Adamovich - Director of Community Engagement

As the Director of Community Engagement, Olivia brings passion and customer focus to Your Balanced Life. By never letting fear keep her from living her dreams, Olivia has always been adventurous. As a gymnast and cheerleader for most her life, she always kept health and fitness at a close reach. When she moved to Chicago to further pursue her schooling and career aspirations, she couldn’t help but take in everything her new city had to offer. Being able to walk most places and run by the riverfront only fed her craving for fitness and health. Taking care of her mind and body has always been important to her ever since her mother Diana, the founder of Your Balanced Life, told her about the Ayurveda lifestyle. By unintentionally adopting the practices of what her mother taught her, she soon found herself using them in her everyday life.

Olivia received a Communication degree from Loyola University in Chicago. When she is not working she enjoys yoga to reset her body and mind. She hopes to work with others to bring health and fitness to their minds by studying to be a yoga teacher and Ayurveda Chef. She also enjoys attending concerts in the city and outdoor activities.

Desiree Gordon - Director of Marketing & Visionary

Leading the marketing, branding and vision of Your Balanced Life, Desiree has always had a niche for anything marketing and creative! After receiving her B.A in Integrated Marketing and Public Relations from John Carroll University, she’s been promoting healthy food options around NorthEast Ohio on social media and working out regularly, to juggle her love for fitness and marketing. As a former ballet dancer and athlete, Desiree never really cared about her health, nor did she have too. The amount of physical activity she put her body through on top of her high metabolism, made her the perfect candidate for maintaining an ideal body image. When she got to college and stopped being as active, she soon realized how important health and fitness really was. This shifted her focus to consciously make the decision everyday on what she was eating and getting to the gym. Not long after that decision, it became her lifestyle.

As a newbie to Ayurveda and Diana’s practices, Desiree has since adjusted her current lifestyle to a more holistic approach to her health. In between being on a committee for Inlet Dance Theatre and wedding planning, she still makes conscious efforts to incorporate healthy living in her life!

Nicolette Severino - Social Media & Content Development Strategist

Assisting with the vision and marketing of Your Balanced Life, Nicolette is excited to learn more about the Ayurveda lifestyle. As someone who is not known to exercise very often, Nicolette tries to keep herself as active as she can. By joining a sorority in college, she tried to find different ways to stay active, whether it was attending workout classes with her friends or trying to hit the gym, but nothing seemed to stick. She decided to shift her focus more on what she was putting into her body before she would commit to working out. After learning from Diana, “you cannot exercise yourself out of a bad diet”, she started to realize that her habits had to change. Going into the real world and not being in college anymore was a wake up call she needed. That is when Nicolette determined she was finally ready to take the next step into a more holistic lifestyle.

Nicolette received a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from John Carroll University. She is trying her best everyday to focus on putting healthy foods into her body (although, she doesn’t think she can give up the spluging every once in a while)! When she is not working, she loves to spend time with friends and family!

Monica Severino - Office Manager & Rockstar

As the Office Manager of Your Balanced Life, Monica provides attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all. She has the ability to interact with others in an honest, fair and respectful way giving confidence in working with you and our organization. As a workaholic, Monica never really gave time to exercising and caring about her health. Raising four kids, gave her enough exercise to last what seemed like a lifetime. As the kids got older and started to move out, Monica found herself lonely trying to stay active to keep herself busy. After getting her dog Kahlua, she does her best to walk and exercise as much as she can. She believes that eating more healthy will give her the energy she has been missing.

Monica did not know much about the Ayurveda lifestyle before her sister Diana brought her on this journey. She feared as she gets older, it may take longer to adapt a healthy lifestyle, but decided that isn’t going to stop her. When she is not working, she enjoys relaxing on vacation and spending time with her children!
